Managing Director
Ronald Wilting
Started as an analog IC designer, Ronald (1970) has held various positions at both multinationals and start-ups. His positions have varied from design engineer to Chief Executive Officer. He has always been at the forefront of launching new technologies into the market. From Bluetooth to antenna tuning, from power amplifiers to crystal oscillators.
In addition to his broad technical and managerial experience he has also a well developed cultural awarness. He has lived several years in Malmo (Sweden) and in Taipei (Taiwan). This has also helped him to better understand the global customers, and especially their decission making process.
In 2004, Ronald returned to the Netherlands and joined NXP in Nijmegen. Under his supervision, as Marketing Manager, a new product strategy was defined, ultimately leading to major growth in only a few years time.
In 2008 he left NXP to join EPCOS Netherlands. Here he found a great product concept (antenna tuning for mobile phones), however most customers, unable to see the benefits, refused to take the risk of using it in real products. During the several years of product development, a complete design in service was created. This was needed to remove all technical obsticles customers were facing in the implementation process. In addition, it clearly showed the real performance beneftits. After several successful projects with major mobile phone manufacturers the team and technology was acquired by Qualcomm Technologies in 2013.
Since 2018 Ronald has worked at high tech start-ups seeking investments. He found this type of work very rewarding, since it allows him to make use of his extensive experience and knowledge, he decided to start his own Consultancy company to help other start- and scale-ups in the high-tech industry.
